We've done lots of cooking and eating. We went for a swim in Walden Pond. The water was great. Apparently the pond is 5 feet higher than it normally is. FIVE FEET! Lots of the trails around the pond are closed so we had to swim at the "beach". Then we headed into Boston and got drinks before the game at Eastern Standard. Next time your in Boston, hit it up. Great drinks, classy. And finally, Fenway.

Welcome to the Conestoga Wagon
We're blogging! Never really thought it would happen, but it is efficient. We will be keeping track of our trip out to the west coast so anyone who's interested can see what we're up to. Hopefully this will evolve into something fabulous and interesting, but only time can tell.
We left Charlottesville on June 20th and drove up Skyline Drive to Reston. If you haven't done this yet, and you are in the area, we strongly recommend it! It was awesome AND we saw a black bear. We hung out at the Elmer's for a few days then drove up to Wellesley via Chenango Bridge, NY to see Carl and Marge Newton, my great aunt and uncle. Carl is doing better everyday and Marge is as amazing as always. It was a quick visit, but well worth it. We've been at my parents house in Wellesley for the last couple days, hanging out. Last night we went to Fenway and watched Boston demolish Tampa. Go Sox!
Tomorrow we head out for Akron, OH! The journey west begins!
